Free Kindergarten

La Tierra Community School is pleased to offer FREE half-day Kindergarten to all children (5 years of age by September 1st). The Kindergarten curriculum comes alive for students by connecting their learning to real-world ideas, issues and needs. Our Kindergarteners are inspired to create quality products and to think critically, through classroom expeditions, case studies, fieldwork and service learning opportunities.

 Monday through Thursday Half-day Kindergarten is, 8:15am-12:05pm and Full day is 12:05pm-3:00pm.

Extended-Day Kindergarten

Additionally, La Tierra Community School offers an extended-day Kindergarten. This program enriches the Kindergarten curriculum by incorporating additional STREAM (Science, Technology, Recreation, Engineering, Arts and Math) components into the school day. The extended-day Kindergarten is Monday through Thursday from 12:00-3:00pm. The tuition for this program is a flat fee of $80 per month.
